Robby Cole is a security consultant focusing primarily on federal regulatory compliance for the chemical and refining industries. At Roberts Law Group / Chemical Security Group, Robby plays a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of compliance with the Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA), Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) requirements, and U.S. Department of Transportation Hazardous Material Regulations, in addition to a range of other federal regulations.
Prior to his tenure with Roberts Law Group, Robby dedicated over 21 years to service in the United States Coast Guard and United States Navy. Over the course of his long career in the Coast Guard, Robby was deeply involved in enforcing facility and vessel security regulations, where he also gained significant expertise in port and waterway management across his multiple tours of duty.
Robby holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Carolina. While at USC, Robby was a Midshipman in the university’s Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC), ultimately earning his commission as an officer prior to graduating and deploying on active duty with the Navy. Robby brings his extensive Naval and Coast Guard experience, along with his comprehensive knowledge of federal security regulations, to assist clients as they navigate the challenging waters of regulatory compliance.
