Darrell Guidry

Darrell Guidry is an attorney and security consultant, practicing primarily in the area of federal security regulation at chemical and petrochemical facilities. He works closely with industry stakeholders, and provides counsel on various matters, including: the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) compliance, Maritime Transportation Security Act (MTSA) compliance, and general law and regulatory compliance matters.

Darrell received a Bachelor of Science from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, with a focus on Legal Studies in Business. Darrell earned his Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Comparative Law from Louisiana State University. During law school, Darrell served as an extern to the Hon. Justice Scott J. Crichton at the Louisiana Supreme Court, and was admitted as a Rule XX Student Attorney while participating in LSU’s Juvenile Defense Clinic. Darrell is a member of the State Bar of Louisiana.

Prior to joining the Roberts Law Group / Chemical Security Group, Darrell practiced law in Southwest Louisiana, where he engaged in both litigation and advisory work on behalf of oil and gas industry clients. Having represented clients at every stage of the petrochemical industry lifecycle – from production to refining and sales – Darrell brings real world experience and insight to his compliance and advisory work.
