Transportation

Each covered facility is required to designate one primary and at least one alternate Rail Security Coordinator (RSC). At least one RSC must be available to TSA twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. The RSC serves as the “primary contact for intelligence information and security related activities and communications with TSA.” Additionally, the RSC is expected to coordinate “security practices and procedures with appropriate law enforcement and emergency response agencies.”
